Some markets offer kids’ activities and live entertainment; all offer an excellent opportunity to meet your neighbors, learn more about local produce, and share in the fun of discovering things produced right here in our own state by talented Kansans! All of the Farmer’s Markets are FREE to attend!

Saturday Farmers Markets
Old Town Farmers Market (Downtown) 2024:
Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., April through December
Address: Farm & Art Market Square in Old Town, 1st and Rock Island
On a brick courtyard in the heart of Old Town, right next to the Museum of World Treasures, the Old Town Farmers Market includes live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, a kid’s corner, and more.

Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market (West Wichita) 2024:
Hours: Saturdays, 7 a.m. to Noon, April- October
Address: Sedgwick County Extension Center, 7001 W 21st Street North
The west location of Kansas Grown Farmers Market is situated in the parking lot of the Sedgwick County Extension Center and has all the home- and locally-grown produce you would hope to find, along with handmade items, local honey, plants, and lots more.

Haysville Hometown Market 2024:
Hours: Saturdays, 8- Noon, first Saturday in June to the last Saturday in August.
Address: 100 S. Main, the intersection of S. Main and Grand Ave. in Haysville’s Historic District

Fruits and vegetables, crafts, baked goods, homemade jellies and jams, and a variety of other things. During the summer, the market is also on Tuesday afternoons.

Saturday Farmer’s Markets farther out of town:
These rural or small-town farmers markets offer handmade and homemade goods, local produce, and more. Before you make the drive from Wichita, it’s a good idea to check the link to make sure they’ll have vendors that day.

Sterling Kansas Farmers Market, select Saturdays from June through around September from 8 a.m. until sold out. Next to Dillons on Broadway in Sterling, Kansas.
Lindsborg Farmers Market, Saturday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., beginning end of may, at Swensson Park in Lindsborg, KS.
